The e300ⁱ is the next generation of small wind turbine. It is a low torque machine allowing it to generate electricity at relatively low wind speeds. The high performance three blade rotor drives a dual twin axial flux permanent magnet brushless alternator, for better heat management. The e400ⁱ is the latest development in the Kestrel range. The completely new 120 pole single rotor direct drive alternator incorporates three main shaft bearings to increase stability. The resulting power output is directly proportionate to the rpm’s due to new step generation principles.
